Anushka Sharma is the heroine of the forthcoming Indian Bollywood film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Anushka was picked to be Wendell Rodrick's finale model at the last Fashion Week. Since then the demure looking model has done campaigns for Silk & Shine, Whisper and Fiat Palio. With a set of expressive eyes, this 18-year old Bangalorean has always wanted to be a model. "I can't see myself doing anything else," she was once quoted as saying. At the moment she is studying for a degree in economics.

Asin Thottumkal born in Cochin, Kerala, India. The Malayalam speaking Thottumkal family which consists of her businessman dad, Joseph, and mom, Dr. Seline, who practices in Ernakulam. She attended Naval Public School in Cochin, and after obtaining her Matriculation, was enrolled in St. Theresa's Higher Secondary School. After successfully obtaining her Higher Secondary School Certificate, she enrolled in St. Theresa's College to continue studying in the Arts Faculty. After obtaining a Degree in B.A. English Literature, she assisted her dad in his business (which includes software, export of furniture and antiques) and also took up modeling on the side. Her modeling assignments included Colgate Toothpaste, and Fairever Cream.

Sonam Kapoor totally ignored at London Film Festival

Sonam Kapoor might be considered chic and beautiful in B-Town but she's miles away from acquiring international fame. In fact even her father Anil Kapoor has a long way to go!

The buzz is that she was totally ignored along with daddy dearest at the London Film Festival recently. Anil Kapoor was invited to promote the film 'Slumdog Millionaire' in which he has made a guest appearance as a TV show host.

According to a source, "Anil was supposed to come with his wife but instead took his daughter Sonam. The reason behind this could have been to promote her to the outside world, outside of Bollywood."

Unfortunately both father and daughter were sidelined by the media. No one approached them for interview or photographs.

Adds the source,"None of the British press was interested in taking photos of Sonam or her father. To them they were unknowns and not news-worthy."

Obviously both father and the daughter were disappointed and felt left out in the event.

Sonam baby, getting international fame is no cake walk. You need to be lucky enough for that!

Abhishek Bachchan And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Jungles Of Kerala

Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are in the jungles of Kerala shooting for Ramayan (Ravana) (2008) directed by Mani Ratnam. Aishwarya is being given high security to hide her look for the movie. Aishwarya is playing the role of Sita. The director is keeping all the cars away from the set and only allows staff to arrive by Jeep. Abhishek is playing the role of Rama and south Indian star Vikram plays the role of Raavan. The film will be made in Hindi and Tamil with Aishwarya playing the role of Sita in both versions.
